In Science this term we are investigating sound and light through our unit of work 'Look and Listen'.
Today we explored how sound travels through different materials.
We noticed a difference between sound travelling through air and solids (the wire and the string).
Today we learnt …..that sound travels better through string than through air.
We know this because ….. we put the string over our ears and the sound of the tapping pencil was louder than when we held the string further away from our ears.
